Generations of our family have devoted their lives to the cultivation of Moselle wine. In our part of the world every child grows up with wine. Full-blooded wine-growers - that�s what we are: from Grandpa to the very youngest. With his great experience, our family�s grandfather, Eduard Rauen, still helps out to this day. Now the youngest scion of the family, our son Matthias, has also joined the company.

Weinberge

All our vineyards are situated right next to us. For many generations the wine-growers in our family have been tending world-famous vineyards.

It is mainly the light, weathered, slatey soil and the special climate in our region that give the Riesling such a unique, fruity character to be found nowhere else in the world.

As queen of the vines, the Riesling variety rules supreme - not only in the Moselle region but also in our estate.
